Points that need addressing prior to passing

[edit]

The article is generally good and well written, however, I'd like to see the following issues addressed prior to passing:

  • Possibly insufficient references for a family article (only 9 references?), some material remains unreferenced. Perhaps use intext citations? This makes the article easier to read & verify in my opinion. See WP:CITE. I recommend using footnotes eg: <ref>Brown J (1900) Example study on something ''Journal of Examples'' 18:5678-9876</ref>. See: Wikipedia:Footnotes for more information.
  • Taxobox - the taxobox creates much white space, I recommend moving the list of genera into the text.
  • Breadth - I wonder given the limited number of references used whether the article does cover the breadth of the topic. As I'm not an insect biologist I'll leave this for others to determine.

Minor recommendations

[edit]
  • Some further images (larvae, pupa) may be of benefit
  • Notable species? Why are the European fauna dealt with separately/alone?
