The tone of this article is not neutral. Citations should be added please and a more neutral tone needs to be here. --YUL89YYZ 17:28, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to the clearly argumentative tone, a number of notable recognitions are omitted, such a the Order of Ontario. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 202.156.6.54 (talkcontribs) .

"The tone of this article is not neutral." That's for sure. It sounds like an anti-Carnegie screed. I've taken out some of it. Also, hockey is more than stats. Who's to say how much ice time he got, or how much hostile attention he got from opposing players, or how good his teammates were? (I confess, I don't remotely know enough about Carnegie to say.) I'd suggest finding commentary from people who knew him; CBC-TV's "Hockey: A People's History" interviewed Béliveau, who seemed to think he was pretty good.... This is my first try at any sort of major edit, so I hope it's OK. I rewrote most of the page, using published sources. And I tried to be as neutral as possible. Interested in any comments. --Blotto adrift 02:50, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Recent change

[edit]

Reverted extensive POV edits. Please discuss changes here before re-editing the page - we need a neutral article here. Blotto adrift 15:45, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good, Blotto. If somebody's putting back in all the crap, maybe Carnegie was right... Or maybe there too many a*holes in the world. Trekphiler 07:43, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Future Aces

[edit]

When I was in middle school in North York, Ontario in the mid-90s, the school had its own Future Aces program involving Carnegie in which every week (I believe) a student was chosen as a Future Ace. I believe that the winner got a 'plaque' (or a framed printout) and possibly a token cash award. 69.157.45.222 (talk) 14:17, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
