Inappropriate Paragraph[edit]

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that "Unfortunately, while some of his former listeners still recall him fondly, today he is largely forgotten. He shouldn't be. At a time when radio was becoming more controversial and talkers more angry, he proved that a talk show could be kinder and gentler and still attract a wide audience." doesn't belong in an encyclopedic article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Angrykeyboarder (talkcontribs) 02:28, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed; I've changed it. Be bold. LeoO3 (talk) 15:46, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DevorahLeah (talk) 18:20, 5 October 2008 (UTC)I wrote much (but not all) of this article, and am eager for any other feedback. I am a media historian and have done a lot of research on his career. The comments, while probably inappopriate for an encyclopaedia, do reflect the consensus among fans that his show was unique and puzzlement at how his popularity has faded with time.[reply]

Stub question[edit]

DevorahLeah (talk) 18:23, 5 October 2008 (UTC) I added an infobox. Now, how do we get it to be more than a stub? I thought I had put in a lot of information that nobody else had about him. Please give me some guidance. I've helped with a number of broadcasting articles and I'd like Herb's to be a GA at some point.[reply]
