Photograph[edit]

G'day, there is a photograph of Kienzle here: [1] It is a reproduction of a photo that appears in Austin's 1988 book about the 39th Infantry Battalion. It would be a great addition to your article. Give me a while and I will try to determine its copyright status and if it can be used. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 02:52, 5 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have been trying to get in touch with Robyn Kienzle regarding just this. I was talking to her just now and have sent an email off for her to consider. Cinderella157 (talk) 08:23, 5 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have gotten Austin's book now and unfortunately there is no attribution for the photograph in it; however, it seems that you might have solved this. If the owner of the photograph has provided permission via email, to make it completely above board, I think the email needs to be sent through to |Commons:OTRS. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 10:02, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and thanks. I have already done this. Cheers Cinderella157 (talk) 10:16, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, sounds promising. T.the OTRS ticket should be linked on the image description page, though, using something like this: Template:OTRS ticket. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 12:18, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect middle name[edit]

Page was recently created with the incorrect middle name. This has been corrected in the text and by copying the text to this page with the correct middle name. Talk from the previous page was also copied to here and a request made for deletion of the former page. Cinderella157 (talk) 03:08, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

G'day, I have completed a history merge from Herbert Thomas Kienzle to here, so the attribution of content (which is important for copyright matters) can be retained. Please be careful with these sorts of things, though, as copy-paste moves are not the best way. Please see Wikipedia:Moving a page for the correct procedure; if you have dramas understanding it (as it is a bit technical), I'm happy to help you with any moves you may wish to do in the future. Just ping me first. Cheers, AustralianRupert (talk) 04:44, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@AustralianRupert slap my wrist, I know better now and thanks. Cinderella157 (talk) 07:15, 10 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
