Year of release

[edit]

Sometime back in the Sword and sandal article, we had a problem with someone changing the year in the name/Wikilink of this film from 1958 to 1957. After I reverted him with an edit summary to the effect that all the editor was doing there was breaking the link and if he was sure of his ground he should take it here, it stopped. I now see that there has been no discussion here, and that the infobox gives a very specific date in early 1958 for the original release. As that article does in fact generally date the film to 1957 and many sources do as well (admittedly, many sources also date the Disney movie Dr. Syn, Alias the Scarecrow aka The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh to 1962, but 1964 is in its on-screen copyright notice), are you people certain of your ground? --Tbrittreid (talk) 22:44, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
