{{db-g6|rationale=Herman Bodson is just a guy who wrote once about the Belgian resistance, it seems ludicrous that his page should just redirect to [[Belgian resistance]]. Since no article exists, I propose this page be deleted.}}
I disagree. The article mentions his name and activities during the World War II and redirect provides better context to our readers. I have no opinion on whether the article Herman Bodson could be developed separately. I've modified the redirect, see Belgian_Resistance#Sabotage. --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 16:32, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Vejvančický. I'm in the process of doing some major work on the Resistance article and I don't consider that Mr. Bodson meets the notability guidelines and certainly does not deserve around 5% of the whole Belgian resistance article. Just to prove that I'm not doing this out of some vendetta, have a look at this biography of him. Brigade Piron (talk) 08:11, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Brigade Piron. It seems you are competent and knowledgeable in this area. The bio you've provided claims he saved lives of many people during the WWII, for which he received British Kings Medal and the US Medal of Freedom (I'm nort sure how reliable www.minrec.org is). He was noted as a resistance fighter [1] and a mineralogist (HighBeam, subscription required). The mention in the Belgian resistance article may be unbalanced and too extensive, but why do you think he's not notable? --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 08:38, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Vejvančický. My problem with his inclusion is not that he is not relevant to the topic - he was obviously a resistant - however he does not seem (from his biography) to have been a leader, key figure etc. of the movement. His chief notability in the field is restricted to the (rather good) book he published on the area and, thus, I believe deserves coverage as a writer rather than as a resistant. He certainly does not need to be one of the top 5 resistance members which the article singles out. Best wishes,Brigade Piron (talk) 09:33, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I see - you don't consider him to be notable enough to be mentioned among the leading figures of the Belgian WWII resistance. What about moving the info about him from the Resistance article under Herman Bodson? I can help you with citations and further polishing of the article if you want. But I think it would be better to notify editors at Talk:Belgian_Resistance before that. --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 10:16, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
