That thing about the squelch name is well documented in the Daily Californian (as well as Squelch oral tradition) and of course the issue of the squelch in the squelch archive (which I didn't link to since it seemed redundant). Unfortunatly the daily cal archive is down right now but you can check it out later.

Can we please be more specific abotu what needs to be cited? I'm a newbie to wiki (though an old-hand at the squelch).
