Heybrigde
[edit]Heybridge is a very old house in the Village of Ingatestone Essex. This does not exist as a village or hamlet. It is no more than a few houses in a very small area called Heybridge estate. I lived in Burnthouse Lane for 45 years and being one of the Village postmen and worked in the service for over 30 years. If you were to write your address, you would write. EG:- 30 Roman Road Ingatestone Essex. The word Heybridge would never be put on your letter or tell anybody that you live in Heybridge because they would end up in Maldon Essex.
