Seems very very similar to power rangers, and yet is not mentioned on the front page, someone needs to add / research the similarity, if they are just parallel east west series' or whatever.

Maskman was produced as part of the Japanese Super Sentai franchise. The later series in that franchise are the source material for Power Rangers.--SB | T 20:39, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hikari can also qualify as Laser

[edit]

Laser is a form of light, right? So isn't it acceptable that Laser is a "fashioned" or "hypered" term for it?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.83.10.112 (talk)

We are taking the most literal translation for it here, as there is nothing really that tells us that "hikari ()" means laser in the context of this series.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 22:15, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Maskmen have henshin device or not?

[edit]

Do they have henshin device or not? I don't think they have one. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.83.13.214 (talk) 14:15, 6 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

    • They do have the henshin device. It's called "Masking Brace".

Fair use rationale for Image:Hikari Sentai Maskman.jpg

[edit]

Image:Hikari Sentai Maskman.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:12, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On Oyobu

[edit]

Did Mina Asami really played Oyobu on occasion? Then why was it not stated on the Cast section? Supaagekireddo 00:44, 6 September 2007 (UTC) Actually, she played only Ial and Igam. Oyobu was played by Yoshinori Okamoto.--151.55.90.88 (talk) 19:05, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Filipino version of the opening theme and closing

[edit]

This Wikipedia Diff shows an unsourced edit. While it carries no additional weight, basing on my personal knowledge, the original text is correct and the edit (shown on the diff) is not with regards to the artist of the opening and closing theme in the Filipino version. The edit does not cite proof regarding this matter, making it questionable. In the spirit of wikipedia, I am going ahead an undoing only this particular modification. Kindly reply here if you have any thoughts regarding this. Thanks. --148.87.1.172 08:26, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
