Death date[edit]

Anybody have any idea where 30 March comes from? It was introduced by User:Khaosjr [[1]]. What I find sources for is that she died the week before 8 April. This I guess could be any one of the days 30 March - 4 April if she did not die on a Sunday. I am not sure if Sunday 29 March or 5 April belongs to the week before 8 April. This unless I reads the expression wrong and the week before 8 April is 1 April - 7 April. Personal knowledge, but this cannot be used as a reference at Wikipedia. So, for now, the incorrect date of April 3 will have to stand. Verifiable inaccuracy beats unverifiable accuracy. -- Asteuartw (talk) 10:47, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It has now been given a source which is behind a paywall [[2]]. So the date claims to be sourced. If this source does not state date of death it should be removed and at least replaced with >^{[better source needed]} or >^{[citation needed]}. Thanks to you for putting it back. I got reverted pretty quickly by someone. Do you have access to the obituary in The Times? I thought I would avail myself of their free month, but resisted the temptation when they wanted a credit card number for a free month. Can you confirm what they say precisely about date of death. If you can provide a quotation we will I suspect be able to set everybody to rest. Just for the record. I suspect more documentation may be needed so I'm just thinking a bit ahead. If you do get wind of a death announcement please tell me in which paper. In Norway people usually place small memorial ads in a newspaper announcing the death and the funeral. I just discovered an extremely useful press service with my local library, hence the paper reference. Or possibly find out which cemetery, they often have public records of burials where you can search. Since this is a corona death the burial will be delayed waiting for the daughter's quarantine to expire. The Express source cannot be accessed unlike The Times source. It is much preferable for a source to actually be accessed because we have more visual reference as to what's on the cite. I cannot get behind Express being used due to this. So the march 30 date should be removed until a source that can be accessed online is found.
