The Other works section seems to be the exclusive work of Adhi and not the whole band. I think it would be more appropriate if a page is created for Adhi alone and his individual works listed there.

COI

[edit]

Because I know the subject personally and should not write about them (even if the content is neutral) to avoid conflict of interest, I am done editing the article. I also hope that the entire article is rewritten by any other editor, but must not deviate from the existing sources. Ssven2 and Editor 2050, you may edit if you have the time or interest. Kailash29792 (talk) 08:08, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for agreeing to not edit the article directly in the future. You are very welcome to contribute by offering content proposals here on the Talk page (we get great contributions that way). However... you have no right to demand that the sources remain unchanged, nor to determine who can edit. Please read WP:OWN and reconsider your comment above. Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 08:42, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The article implies he completed (successfully?) a PhD in about eight months. Surely not. Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 11:35, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It does not say he began his PhD course in October 2014. It says, "As of October 2014, he was studying a Ph.D course". Do you guys know the meaning of "as of"? Kailash29792 (talk) 11:59, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I did not say 'it says'. I specifically used the word 'implies.' Do you know the meaning of 'implies'? Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 13:21, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
User:Kailash29792 you have agreed to not edit this article directly. That means that you don't remove tags. You make suggestions for content changes here on the talk page, only. That is what you agreed to do, and is what we ask of editors who have a COI. And you should never EVER edit war on an article where you have a COI - you should not be touching the article content directly at all. OK? Jytdog (talk) 12:36, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, my mistake. But it is like trying to control itch. Kailash29792 (talk) 12:40, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You just made me laugh. Yes, self-awareness and self-control are essential for longterm happiness and productivity here. Jytdog (talk) 13:17, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Behindwoods

[edit]

Because my past COI with one of HHT's members prevents me from editing this article, I hope an admin responds to my request to remove these links of Behindwoods (an as-yet-unreliable source):

Aadhi Venkatapathy Raju's college days.

[edit]

If someone born and/or lives in Tamilnadu and speaks Tamil he is a Tamil, no doubt. But he can't be called a (pure) Tamizhan and he can't claim that he is. He can enjoy all the benefits of being a Tamil but he can't comment/criticize the Pure Tamils. This is the ironic difference which we all have to accept. This is common to all the states and regions of our united India. This person is basically from a Telugu speaking family. Moreover, his days in college were full of allegations by fellow students, especially the fair sex. It's essential that such a good and trusting website like Wiki should check and scrutinize the truth before making some ambitious guy a celebrity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.178.56.167 (talk) 18:19, 22 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your allegations are baseless. Adhi has stated in multiple interviews that he is from Coimbatore. Kailash29792 (talk) 18:54, 22 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That what is claimed as (from Coimbatore)is not disputed. But, surely everyone knows that if someone is from Coimbatore, just because he or she hails from there, lives there (even for generations), doesn't mean that he or she is a Tamil mother-tongued. And about the allegations, it's understandable if none comes forward because of the hurt; past, present, and future. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.178.56.167 (talk) 01:58, 23 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This could be a Good Article

[edit]

I came across this page searching for "articles needing a copyedit" via the community portal. I was pretty surprised that it was even listed, as this page was in great shape. I moved around some sections and tried to break up the massive chunks of text as best I could, but there's not a lot more to be done. I think this page is a great candidate for GA review, because it's just so foundationally solid. In particular, the referencing is just phenomenal, except for maybe a few too many references to Facebook - and that's usually the biggest stumbling block for potential GAs. However, I know absolutely nothing about the topic, so I'd recommend another editor nominate it and take it through the process. Like I said, I think it's totally possible to make this page a good, possibly even featured article. -- 2ReinreB2 (talk) 00:20, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

How are you my brother? VishGopi (talk) 19:10, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to communicate with them, please do so on social media, not here. --Kailash29792 (talk) 04:49, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

While browsing through the page, I checked few references. One of them was regarding his completion of Ph.D. (reference number 18), and it is not working now. I am not sure what to do. So I thought I should report it here. Please look into it.--Vishy494 (talk) 05:49, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It has been replaced with a working link. --Kailash29792 (talk) 06:26, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding to the citation of the award table

[edit]

Hello, This is to inform that citation of the award table is not necessary meanwhile links are redirected to the official article of the South Indian International Movie Awards and mentioning as a reference it cause more space in quoting them and adding to Hiphop Tamizha's article. Thank you. -- The_Featured_Editior 21:07, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
