Is there any information discussing the similarities of this with mulled wine? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.103.5.26 (talkcontribs)

1 - There are many spellings for this medieval flavored wine : hypocras is a French one, while hipocras is an English one.
2 - Mulled wine : Anyway, in the Medieval Ages, the hipocras or hypocras is never served hot like the French "vin chaud".Olkjacq 10:56, 17 February 2007 (UTC)Jacques Bouchut[reply]
3 - The reference listed as #2 today, January 30, 2010, is no longer valid. The URL is for the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language (bartleby.com/61), which has to be removed due to a copyright conflict. I tried to remove it but could not. It doesn't seem to be there for any reason beyond promoting a site. Any objection to my removing it? 78.147.50.24 (talk) 15:46, 20 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No response so I removed it 78.147.59.70 (talk) 21:38, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
