Untitled[edit]

The section on the George Graham years is fairly thin regarding the 1989 title winning match at Anfield. Various points could be added:

The reason for the match being played after the FA Cup (Hillsborough disaster) Arsenal players giving flowers to the fans A statement of exactly how tight the table was - that Arsenal finally won the championship not on points, not on goal difference, but on the amount of goals scored.

It might also be worth mentioning how strongly favourite Liverpool were and how strong their record at Anfield was.

Personally I think the match should warrant an article in itself, just as each FA Cup final has an article.

I'm not convinced on the need for its own article, but an expansion of the match here (as it is in Michael Thomas) as you have outlined would be no bad thing. Feel free to be bold and do it yourself! Qwghlm 23:46, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1992 mural[edit]

It might be worth mentioning the 1992 mural that covered up the North Bank. There's an article about it in the NYT, here; I can provide the text if anyone is interested but doesn't have access. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 10:42, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
