Sources

[edit]

While there are many books cited, they all are by Huping Ling. However, there is a PhD thesis by Tai Yeow Au, so some source diversity can come from citing the PhD thesis WhisperToMe (talk) 22:29, 21 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Note: If anyone tries to say this subject is not worthy of an article because one person was the author of most of the books on the subject, remember we do have a thesis written by someone else.

  • Au, Tai Yeow. "Chinatown : place and memory : a case study of St. Louis' Chinatown" (Thesis) Washington University, 1991.

In addition this book review may have more information:

  • Cheng, Hong. "Chinese St. Louis: From Enclave to Cultural Community" (review). Journal of Chinese Overseas. Volume 2, Number 2, November 2006. p. 320-323 | 10.1353/jco.2006.0014

Also check for newspaper articles from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. WhisperToMe (talk) 03:29, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Tao & buildings

[edit]

I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean: "As of 2004, William Tao & Associates, a Chinese American company, helped design over half of the buildings in St. Louis." Did the firm design half of the major buildings in 2004? PRRfan (talk) 02:23, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Move article

[edit]

I think this article ought to be titled Chinese Americans in St. Louis. Any objections? Grey Wanderer (talk) 22:28, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good to me. PRRfan (talk) 02:02, 25 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
