  • A short (one-to-three sentence) introduction at the start of the article would be useful.
  • Format references as footnotes.
  • This page is largely about nationalism rather than nationality. The historical material is of this sort, for example. Although this material is interesting, much of it is already available on the pages about Czech and Slovak history, and moreover it does not apply to the concerns of the topic.
  • It may help you to think of the issues discussed by Brubaker, in his treatment of Germany. Was the situation in Czechoslovakia similar or different? How did one win or lose citizenship? How are marriage, voting, naturalization, education, military service, passports, and the like governed?

Merger?

[edit]

What about merging with History of Czechoslovakia? --Alfons2 (talk) 19:00, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hi Alfons2, yes, I think merger is highly recommended. However, not with History of Czechoslovakia, but rather with Czechoslovakism. History of Czechoslovakia is an entry dealing with a state structure, while Czechoslovak nationality and Czechoslovakism are entries dealing with a concept of Czech and Slovak national unity.
