The result of the move request was: moved all four articles myself per clear consensus to move. City of Destruction (The Celestial City) 18:52, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Uganda since 1979History of Uganda (1979–present) — This move request is intended to regularise these four articles on different eras of Ugandan history so that they conform with one another and with other histories of countries on Wikipedia, which are titled in a similar way, e.g. Early history of South Africa, History of Germany (1945–1990), History of the United States (1991–present). With regards to Uganda under Idi Amin, which I propose moving to History of Uganda (1971–1979), as Uganda has been subject to multiple other dictatorships in its past, such as under Milton Obote and current leader Yoweri Museveni, I think it is better not to highlight Amin specifically but instead stick to year boundaries. • Support - The current names do sound a little odd, and the proposed names are a lot more clear. --WikiDonn (talk) 18:01, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support all four moves - what is stopping you from doing all of these moves boldly? Green Giant (talk) 00:42, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lacking Years[edit]

Am I the only one a bit confused by the fact that the article jumps from 1986 to 2000 without any content. Did literally nothing happen during those 14 years worth mentioning? 24.226.52.128 (talk) 20:44, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The point is, that the article is mainly a copy of a country report published by the congressional research service in 1990. This is the reason, why the coverage has lacks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.16.151.229 (talk) 17:53, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Features keeping in Uganda[edit]

Uganda is a good country with very many good things which others are man made features and God made features. But mostly the game of historical facts are the things which are leading to the lost of those features. No one ever came with any feature but only to guide and teach people how to leave and look after them. For the better of our Nation we need to sacrifice to get better and conducive environment. 41.210.159.124 (talk) 03:15, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
