Unfortunately, this page contains numerous inacuracies. A better history of the VFA is to be found at Victorian Football League. Albert Isaacs (talk) 05:56, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This page exists because at one stage someone decided to delete slabs of the history in the VFA/VFL article, and this article was a way of preserving it. Considering subsequent additions to that article, the need for this page has diminished. However, the main article still does not mention the role of the VSFL or the attempted revival of the league by C7 Sport. BTW, misspelling "inaccuracies" was a nice touch :-) matturn (talk) 10:57, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Matturn,
"inaccuracies": nobodies purrfect.
What you say about the reason for this page is interesting, but I think that now is the time to amalgamate the two pages. In fact, there are three pages that need amalgamation - the VFA page should also be thrown into the mix.
The VFL page now looks quite good. The list of clubs is interesting, and the timeline graph is excellent.
However, have a look at the comment I've added to the VFL comment page regarding Heidelberg.
