The lead

[edit]

In reference to User:Al-Andalus, do you really think your edits to the lead section were at all constructive and/or helpful? Do you honestly think they were "written in a clear, accessible style" and concise in accordance with WP:LEAD? This is an all too common occurrence, where relatively straightforward overviews on LGBT related articles (particularly Australian ones) get amended in a way that makes them overly wordy, and endlessly difficult to follow, and which arguably contravene WP:NPOV. For those interested, here are the differences b/w the intro as it stood and Al-A's last edit to it. Would be happy to hear what you have to say in response User:Al-Andalus.
