Should discuss some of the notorious historical falsifications in the book (upgrading Stalin's role in 1917, etc.). AnonMoos (talk) 19:52, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Soviet historiography[edit]

According to the Russian page the book influenced Soviet historiography.Xx236 (talk) 07:34, 4 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The English article as it now stands includes a few vague words like "propagandist", but doesn't mention any of the book's falsehoods... AnonMoos (talk) 21:37, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The "The" doesn't seem to be part of the title name, should it be removed?--80.180.196.242 (talk) 10:44, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I also note that Short Course is a redirect to Short course (about swimming) as {{R from other capitalisation}}, but because the article lede says that this book is "[c]olloquially known as the Short Course", it may deserve a hatnote (and retargeted per WP:DIFFCAPS?) 92.249.211.16 (talk) 12:10, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I've turned Short Course into a disambiguation page. Station1 (talk) 02:00, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per WP:THE. Beginning an article with "the" is discouraged when unnecessary. Rreagan007 (talk) 15:00, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per title page of book. Station1 (talk) 02:00, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
