The "MRT Man"[edit]

As I have mentioned before, I failed to mention an important man in the development of the MRT, someone who was nicknamed as the "MRT Man" for his efforts. Unfortunately, I cannot remember his name, and my only memory of his existance was in newspapers articles last year when he passes away. Does anyone else have information about this man? I would think he is very important for the purpose of this page.--Huaiwei 19:17, 10 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that the person could be Ong Teng Cheong, since he was one of the most, if not the most vocal supporter of the MRT system. I need to be sure though; I may need to make a visit to the National Library this weekend to check. A.K.R. 13:52, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Old maps of MRT[edit]

Anyone has any old maps of the MRT lines? e.g. before the Woodlands extension, even at the initial phase when it was YCK - OTP... 203.120.126.188 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 08:09, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Need of signal numbers[edit]

Is the signal numbers necessary? I mean it's good to have but do we need it? 1.02 editor (talk) 04:06, 8 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a station named "Bouna Vista"?[edit]

The File:Singapore old mrt map.png has a station named "Bouna Vista". Is it just me, or was it a typo error?

If it was a typo error, then is it possible to upload a new one? AptiveViennaPro (chat with me) 04:43, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It is probably a typo error. They are referring to Buona Vista MRT station Brachy08 (Talk)(Contribs) 06:41, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
