I have read nothing of this article other than the first two sentences, and already it strikes me as being very POV 74.64.99.122 (talk) 07:16, 3 March 2008 (UTC)(03/03/2008)[reply]

The image Image:Peoples army.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Vietnam War involvement

[edit]

I understand that the PRC military was involved to a certain degree in both the First Indochina War and the Vietnam War(see Vietnam War#People's Republic of China). If someone who's more knowledgeable on this could pitch in and add a section on it it would greatly benefit this article. Capt Jim (talk) 17:24, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In-Line Citations Needed

[edit]

This article desperately needs additional references and much of the content requires in-line citations in order to meet Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. A cursory glance shows many of the sections have absolutely no in-line citations, which brings into question the factual accuracy of the information presented. The further reading section may include sources which can back up the text. I will do my best over the next few days to add references and citations where possible but this article may need a complete re-write to meet Wikipedia's standards. If anyone can help with this it would be much appreciated. --Adam Black talkcontribsuploadslogs 01:16, 29 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
