Same old steelers
[edit]I am removing the origination of the Same Old Steelers from Bell; it's off topic except for the fact that Bell always wore his heart on his sleeve. I am not editing this article because you guys might have already looked over the sources or decided it's close enough. If you are afraid of the sources, then I will put it in. Note: Lyons interviewed and named the reporter whom was present and Claassen, Lyons, and LeBlanc each write their own account in their own books.
In their inaugural season, Bell was resigned to the Steelers having a dreadful season after Rooney denigrated the team during training camp in a phrase that would soon morph into the "Same old Steelers"−(SOS).[1][2]
- ^ Claassen, Lyons p. 90, and LeBlanc p. 62 write: the team had a new name and new uniforms but they looked like the "'same old Pirates.'" Claassen, 1963, p. 247.
- ^ "Rooney and Bell Views Differ After Early Look at Steelers". August 10, 1941. Retrieved 2 September 2011.The Pittsburgh Press wrote: "'They still look like Steelers to me—in green jerseys.'"

Article Improvements
[edit]Hello, in an attempt to better and improve this article, I've edit/added to a section concerning the Steelers in 2020. I added more relevant information under this topic. I've also added a completely new section that discusses the impact of the Steelers organization on the community as a whole.
