Teen Pregnancy

[edit]

I've been told that this song is about teen pregnancy; if that's the case, would it be appropriate to inculde that information on the page? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ceolwulf (talkcontribs) 18:28, 6 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I should think it was worth including because of the point being made in the music video (the connection between the casual sex and teenage pregnancy in the lyrics and the dog being neutered!), but would we need a verifiable source (ie. a comment made by the band to a magazine) to prove the point? The lyrics ARE obviously about that, but 'it's obvious' isn't exactly encyclopedic ;) Bottlegreen roses 19:45, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeh personally i belive the dog in the video is based on a metaphorical character who has children and runs away therefor need sto be neutered. I belive this after looking at the lyrics which are obveously about teenage pregnancy and that ending up in a disfunctional relationship. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.2.244.19 (talk) 10:05, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ska Punk?

[edit]

I'm violating my "don't get involved in genre disputes on wikipedia" rule here, but I don't think this is ska punk. The only vaguely ska punk characteristic I can hear is the bass guitar stressing the offbeat in the chorus, and I don't think that's enough to class it as such. Genre

[edit]

Ok, this is definitely not pop punk. So, what I humbly suggest is to change the genre to only dance punk and comedy rock, as the electronic element is besides already included in the term dance-punk. What do you think about this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.39.112.94 (talk) 17:51, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
