Hliðskjálf

[edit]

Good job expanding the article! Now, I notice we have a problem here in that at Hliðskjálf there is an article about a music album. What do you suggest we do about that? Should Hliðskjálf be a disambiguation page or should it be (or redirect to) a page about the throne? Haukur 15:57, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Good catch on the album article. I usually try to check all the different spellings of a term but I forgot about that one. I tend to favor the efficiency of disambiguation pages so that might be the way to go, especially if you wanted to use the diacritics, and then have the existing article with English spelling simply redirect to it. I went ahead and posted a top link on both articles redirecting to each other just to avoid confusion. It should suffice for the time being. Cerdic 20:45, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

burzum

[edit]

how come this article and the Burzum article link now to the same page when they didn't use to :S -Dexter_prog (talk contribs count) @ 04:35, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I guess someone fixed that. Interestingly enough, I just came here from the Burzum site, and on the about page (Varg Vikernes' biography) it says that "Hliðskjálf" translates to 'secret ritual-site'. Is there any truth to this? And what language this word is from might be pertinent to the article as well.--Subversive Sound (talk) 14:18, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
