Improvement[edit]

There’s a little bit to do here. First, Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis is not a mountain range but an administrative district. Within this, the Hohe Wurzel is the third highest peak, the higher ones being Windhain (629 m) on the eastern border and Kalte Herberge (619 m) a bit to the south-west. As for Wiesbaden, the highest point within Wiesbaden’s borders is where the border to Taunusstein passes the southern slopes of Hohe Wurzel at about 610 metres elevation but misses the actual peak by a few hundred metres. The highest peak in Wiesbaden is the Rassel (539 m), so the Hohe Wurzel is indeed the highest peak around Wiesbaden, for the Kalte Herberge is hardly visible from Wiesbaden. Oh, and to be precise, the telecommmunications tower is not standing at the peak - in fact, there are two (hardly discernible) peaks of 618 and 614 m with the tower right between them. --Kreuzschnabel (talk) 20:29, 14 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
