some proposed changes to Hokus Pick page

[edit]

Hi folks involved with Wikipedia. My name is Russ Smith and I was part of the band Hokus Pick, and since it would be a conflict of interest for me to edit the Hokus Pick page on Wikipedia directly, I thought it would be appropriate for me to go the route of proposing changes.

Here is a change I propose for the Hokus Pick page on Wikipedia:

In third paragraph add:

  • Specific text to be added or removed: Yet the song may have been misunderstood as “I’m So Happy” is meant to remind listeners not to trust superficial things and that happiness is fleeting when obtained through worldly rather than spiritual means.
  • Reason for the change: Brings clarity to what the song "I'm So Happy" is trying to convey.
  • References supporting change:

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made.  Photos of newspaper articles posted on Facebook are not considered a reliable source, as Facebook is user-generated content. I'd recommend trying to find these articles in one of the many online newspaper archives. Actualcpscm (talk) 11:47, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
