Needs citations

[edit]

I would really like to see some citations to the text added in this revision: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Christmas_lighting_technology&diff=526234477&oldid=523462430

If none can be found I think it should be removed.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.109.25.246 (talkcontribs) 22:06, 14 December 2012‎ (UTC)[reply]

Article move

[edit]

The article was moved to "Holiday lighting technology", with "Christmas lighting technology" redirecting here. Colored light arrays are sold around the world and used by people of many cultures and religions throughout the year, and are even used for purely decorative purposes, unconnected to any holiday or festival. — QuicksilverT @ 17:19, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

article reads like a personal testimonial

[edit]

I appreciate someone took the time to write this article about holiday lighting, but the language used reads like an essay or personal testimonial — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.174.41.108 (talk) 19:25, 11 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

North American Only?

[edit]

I have an avid interest in this subject, however, the content is written from a North American viewpoint, describing North American lighting technologies and paraphernalia.

As a UK resident, little of what is described within the article is applicable to lighting within the UK or Europe.

Series Bulb Voltages

[edit]

Can you add a chart that lists series bulb voltages and current ratings? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Klimot (talkcontribs) 14:17, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
