Fair use rationale for Image:NS logo.jpg[edit]

Image:NS logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I noticed this quickly on the GAN since I frequently travel from this station during my holidays here. Will be great to see this getting that circle, so I'll review it. GeraldWL 09:43, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

  • Caption reads "Exit A of Holland Village MRT station". Repetitive: consider changing it to "Exit A of the station". GeraldWL 09:43, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Done
  • Suggest changing map caption to "Location of the station within Singapore", or anything similar. GeraldWL 09:43, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Station details[edit]

  • Is this the Hugh Holland referred to? GeraldWL 09:43, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Done
  • In the subsection's case, it would be better to put the station names in quotations, as they are options in a poll. GeraldWL 09:43, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Done
  • Link Anglo-Chinese School (International) Singapore? GeraldWL 09:43, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Done
  • "The station serves the Circle line"-- if you apply my point on History, "Circle line" would just have to be abbreviated, as it's already explained. GeraldWL 09:43, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I did one edit by myself per WP:SOFIXIT. In addition to the issues above, the references also aren't layouted well (i.e. the Website parameter doesn't display the correct name well). I am unable to do these per restricted time on WP, so if you can do it, please do so. GeraldWL 09:43, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ZKang123, do you mind addressing my concerns here? GeraldWL 14:44, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oh sorry, I didnt realise you made a review. I thought you only started reviewing. Sorry, was a bit busy. Yeah will look through.--ZKang123 (talk) 23:31, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
ZKang123, sorry for the long wait! Will elect this as GA-- can you add alt texts on the images as a finishing? GeraldWL 06:29, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What are alt text? Arent captions enough?--ZKang123 (talk) 06:31, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
ZKang123, see WP:ALTTEXT. They're texts that screen readers use to help the blind understand what's conveyed. You don't need to get specific-- for example if there's a chocolate-color bottle, just write "A bottle of chocolate color at a table." GeraldWL 06:39, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I added "|alt=refer to caption"--ZKang123 (talk) 06:45, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ZKang123, putting this to GA now. See you've added some MRT articles as GAN; I'll probably review it when I have time. For now I'm focusing on updating Sriwijaya Air Flight 182. Hang in there! GeraldWL 06:49, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks very much for this review!--ZKang123 (talk) 06:51, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
