Proposed merge with Olly Wood[edit]

Nearly all of the highly promotional Olly Wood is about his work in Hollaphonic. Not notable per WP:MUSICBIO independently of the duo. OnionRing (talk) 21:30, 7 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree on point that all of Olly Wood page is Hollaphonic based content. As Middle East industry specialists, we felt that Wood deserved a separate page similar to Greg Stainer that highlighted his role in shaping the MENA live events industry developing innovative live events in a time of change for the Middle East, he is also working with brands to create a tighter bond between global corporations and the music industry. These combined have changed the face of the region and we feel it deserves reference on a platform such as Wikipedia Robophile (talk) 09:32, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Who is "we" please? OnionRing (talk) 09:35, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
International Live Events Association (ILEA) MENA division, we are looking to build encyclopedic information surrounding the live event industry in the middle east for the first time and we had thought to start with Olly Wood because he had a broad subject matter to discuss across the live space as an artist and an industry leader. This is our first time writing from here on Wikipedia so we apologise if we have not created with the correct links/tone, but we have sought to amend this after your comment and add more around Wood's life and less around his Hollaphonic ties - please advise if it now reads better and if you agree with our process as we will look to put more informative entries around this new regional industry as we move towards World Expo 2020 in Dubai Robophile (talk) 09:59, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
We have checked WP:MUSICBIO and would suggest that his individual work at EMI Records achieving several top selling discs with the likes of Kylie Minogue and Doves should appease this concern alongside the album he put out with EMI 'Street Grooves' and his opening performances with Coldplay and Ne-Yo - hopefully this will validate musically his presence; in addition to his work in the ILEA industries this we feel gives us a great foundation to push Oliver (Olly) forward as the first in a line of encyclopedic pieces on our embryonic regional events arena Robophile (talk) 10:18, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Please read WP:Conflict of interest, and stop creating and editing articles about your company's clients: Wikipedia is not a vehicle for promoting them, it's an encyclopaedia. Please also read note that accounts shared by multiple people are also not permitted on Wikipedia. Thank you. OnionRing (talk) 10:31, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
