Entrance design?
I've been hearing from numerous sources that the entrance to the coaster will be modeled after the Hollywood Bowl, located in the former Boneyard area. It will also allow concerts during Mardi Gras and Rock the Universe. Are there any reliable sources we can find for this information to add to the article?--Snowman Guy (talk) 16:05, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- As I understand it, the Hollywood Bowl in the Boneyard is the new concert amphitheatre ... which is not to say that the actual ride entrance won't be similarly designed. That said, here's another one that we need to track down: that the attraction will have a separate entrance from CityWalk, allowing the attraction to run after the park has closed as an up-charge CityWalk venue. Doubt there's anything official or even reliable in this regard, but worth a look. --McDoobAU93 (talk) 03:48, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- I performed a Google search and did not find any information on a CityWalk entrance. This, however, does not suggest that there will not be a seperate CW entrance. I'll try looking around more.--Snowman Guy (talk) 04:19, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- I've found a source now: http://www.theotherorlando.com/blog/2009/02/rip-ride-rockit-update.html not sure if this is reliable or not though. Comments?--Snowman Guy (talk) 15:27, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Criticism?
I don't know if this topic belongs on the discussion page, but I would like to know if anyone has found, or attempted to find, any sources criticizing the ride's design/theme. Personally when I first read the article the ride seemed to be very similar in theme to Disney's Rock'n'Roller Coaster which blasts Aerosmith music in each car. - Actually, there is a source that states that the creative team for Rockit also worked on Japan's Hollywood Dream: The Ride, so that's probably more accurate to cite as the attraction's inspiration. For that matter, it's tough to criticize something that hasn't even opened yet. Of course, if you find something reliable and verifiable, feel free to add it. --McDoobAU93 (talk) 17:56, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Opening date
There are some editors who continue to change the attraction's opening date to July 3. While these edits are being made in good faith, no reliable or verifiable sources have been provided. Please do not change the date unless you can provide one of the following:
- a news story from a local TV or radio station or newspaper; or
- a press release from Universal Orlando; or
- a mailer from Universal Orlando stating the date.
Rumor sites and fansites do not count. There is a source credited to a local radio station's plans for a live remote at the park on July 3. However, this does not confirm the official opening date; "celebrating the grand opening" does not necessarily mean that's the exact date. The ride could open on July 2 and the station could still be part of the grand opening festivities, even a day (or even a week) after the opening date.
So, until a solid source appears, opening is "summer." Opinions/discussion welcome.

Summary section?
I was wondering if after the ride opens, should a summary section be written, similar to the ones on other Universal ride articles?--Snowman Guy (talk) 21:57, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Need reliable source for hidden soundtracks
I personally got to ride this ride today, and I can confirm that there is a "hidden soundtracks" feature on the ride. I had mentioned this on the article, but the only source I knew of was Screamscape, which is apparently not a reliable source as someone removed it shortly after. Does anyone know of a reliable source we can use for the article? I've done some Googling and come across http://www.attractionsmagazine.com/blog/2009/08/20/hidden-songs-confirmed-on-rip-ride-rockit-coaster/, which also appears to be a blog. There's also a video of it on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nROTNhDfJ50), but I doubt that can be used. --WillMcC (talk) 01:23, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- You might want to check out the Orlando Sentinel and its website. They have some theme-park blogs that do count as reliable sources as they are edited/operated by the newspaper. --McDoobAU93 (talk) 01:30, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
