Welcome!

[edit]

Welcome to the talk page for HomeCo Daily Needs REIT! Today I created the page with some information on the company. Make sure to add any more information in the future that you find, and hopefully some photos of some of their centres! HoHo3143 (talk) 14:56, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Comment by draft creator, moved from the draft itself

[edit]

Please read! I have added extra sources that include secondary independent news articles including the AFR, 7 news, shopping centre news, the urban developer and more. Also included has been sources from the company's stock exchange reports (required legally) and other information sourced from the company, its owner.

If you choose to decline the article, please tell me where to improve and how — Preceding unsigned comment added by HoHo3143 (talkcontribs) 06:11, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@HoHo3143: I moved your comment here for a couple of reasons: "AfC comment" means that it is a comment from an AfC reviewer, and the reviewer script adds the comment template; sometimes that script screws up future comments if a comment has been added manually (don't ask me why, I just know I've seen it happen). It's also better in general to have discussions here on the talk page, so the draft itself doesn't get cluttered with discussion threads. --bonadea contributions talk 10:36, 24 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback as requested

[edit]

@HoHo3143: I see that the draft has been resubmitted for publication. There have been no substantive in sourcing since two different reviewers declined submission and following my response at the Teahouse. In response to your draft comment: Routine business buzz (funding, stock, mergers, openings, launches, etc.) does not contribute to notability. The 7NEWS coverage is a stock listing (routine) complemented by what HomeCo principals say (not independent). The Urban Developer coverage is routine. The additional Shopping Centre News citations are routine, leaving only one notability-contributing cite. Per WP:NCORP, notability needs non-routine and non-trivial coverage from multiple independent reliable sources. The multiple sources must be intellectually independent of one another as well as independent of the company. Again the new player article is good. Notability needs an article of comparable depth and audience, from a reliable source other then Shopping Centre News. If you keep resubmitting without improving the sources, the draft will likely be rejected with resubmission blocked. • Gene93k (talk) 23:17, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My three main sources

[edit]

Following this formula, here is my table that I believe is correct with new sources that I added HoHo3143 (talk) 10:19, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@HoHo3143: Financing, mergers, acquisitions and other announcements generally fall under routine (non-substantial) coverage. The facts being cited are routine. The speculative nature of The Australian article raises an additional caution flag. The 2 new citations are paywalled, and I cannot fully evaluate them. I will leave the review to another editor. • Gene93k (talk) 10:40, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
