Clarification...

Hi, the opening sentence, as it stands, is incorrect. Is the Irish team made up of members from all of the island? Of so, it's not strictly true to say that the regatta is held for the countries of the British Isles as the "Ireland" in the sentence refers to the island, and not to the country (also referred to in WP as Republic of Ireland). If not, then how are Northern Ireland rowers represented? Could someone clarify the sentence please? ---- HighKing⁺⁺ 17:43, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
