instant popularity[edit]

The statement "In the 1950s just as instant coffee was becoming the most popular coffee drink," appears to be false. A Financial Times article citing Thomson Reuters analytical puts instant at 37% market share worldwide<ref>http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/0/1339094a-8e3d-11e3-98c6-00144feab7de.html#axzz3gjx8OGYL</ref> <ref>http://im.ft-static.com/content/images/ac9706de-8e90-11e3-98c6-00144feab7de.img</ref>, and Euromonitor reports, "Although fresh coffee dominates the overall coffee industry, instant coffee continues to gain share, ..." <ref>http://www.euromonitor.com/instant-coffee-versatility-and-convenience-drive-growth/report</ref> Certainly this statement could only ever apply to select nations or regions. 71.64.117.204 (talk) 19:01, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
