During the summer of 1967, I recall as a teenager being evacuated out of Aden along with many others and accommodated in the RAF married Quarters at Honington. Sadly, after nearly 40 years I am concious that I have lost so many contacts of that period of time. I still look back fondly at those times and my fellow "teenagers" as we were then, but where have we all gone? I would love to hear from any who were a part of that time with me, both those who were evacuated back from Aden and also the "locals" who did so much to make us feel at home. My name is Jon. , (some may know me with the longer name of Jonathan) I lived with my family in Honington Rise, just up from the Jackdaw garage. Since then I have travelled a lot of miles continuing the journey around the world that so many forces families experience. Now married to a Scot, I have settled into an old mining community in Fife. I can be contacted in the following ways:

email: lochbapt@yahoo.co.uk

telephone: 01592 780317

Where are you? Looking forward to hearing from you.
