Notability

@Sionk: I can see why you tagged the article for questionable notability. I spent quite a while pondering this when reviewing the draft, but concluded that on balance he met the first criteria of WP:NACADEMIC, specifically having a "substantial number of scholarly publications with significant citation rates". Of course, 'substantial' and 'significant' are deliberately subjective terms in the guideline, and I am happy to be challenged if you think Wall falls short on this test. I guess I misunderstood how Google Citation Scholar works. If we believe 75 articles have been cited 4000 times in total, it sounds 'substantial' enough for me. Sionk (talk) 20:08, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
