The conflict section, which is basically the majority of the article reads as if one of your friends is telling you a story of what happened the other night. The Real Stucco 10:04, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Discography

[edit]

The discography needs fixing, as it seems his albums chart has swallowed up the rest of the page under it. I tried to fix it myself, but I'm not very experienced with wiki and couldn't figure out how. 117.197.211.87 (talk) 20:01, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:Can I Log In That's circular information. They got it from WP. Put it in the story. We then source it back onto WP. If you scan the history of the article, you can also find a March birth date. In a few days when the funeral home puts up its schedule, we'll see the date they use. Until then... 2601:983:827F:6B20:F5D5:8BE9:A5:6015 (talk) 20:05, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting, so the article got subtly vandalized. Full protection may be considered or extended-confirmed protection if necessary should this dispute continue. Right now, we'll have to wait for the official documents since apparently Wikipedia was used as a source. {{reply to|Can I Log In}}'s talk page! 22:07, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know why it hasn't been tagged with the "recent death" tag to prevent the spread of misinformation. 2601:983:827F:6B20:F5D5:8BE9:A5:6015 (talk) 23:34, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Should his age be changed to 31-32? MikaelaArsenault (talk) 22:09, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • according to the funeral home, the correct dates are September 12, 1987 ~ June 26, 2020. This is, to me, far more reliable than random pop news articles that quote sections of wikipedia. Of course, at this point it doesn't matter because the information has already been changed in the article. But I wanted to point it out here in the talk section. Hopefully the situation will eventually sink in to some users.
Note: this also contradicts the police reports that say he died before midnight, which would make it the 25th. But the primary concern with the edits in question was the birth date.
