Extremely questionable statements

[edit]

This article is supposed to be encyclopedic? You have got to be kidding me. Let me see if I can identify the insanely biased portion of the following quote, taken from the "entry" on Shelton: "...and Shelton (along with Colin Powell) convinced President Bush to do the right thing;.." Excuse me, but when did it become the job of an author of a supposedly impartial, encyclopedic article to make value judgements as to what constitutes "the right thing"? Sorry, but I highly doubt that Shelton's analysis of the event partially described by the aforementioned quote was so simplistic that one could merely paraphrase what he wrote by using the phrase the "right thing". If I am wrong then the entry needs to provide a quote of some sort. Otherwise it comes off as a blatant violation of any neutrality standards this so-called encyclopedia may have. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.141.155.184 (talk) 21:48, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

2002 back injury

[edit]

Because of the extent of his backyard injuries and the radical techniques that the Army doctors used, I think this should be mentioned. He writes about it in his memoirs and was mentioned in the Daily show interview. The best link I have found so far is this reprint of the 2002 Washington Post article
