Award description[edit]

I know this is an artifact of the text being copied from the Novel article, but surely there's a better way to phrase "The official logo of the Hugo Award, placed on the winning story's cover as a promotional tool" since short stories rarely, if ever, have covers. I'd just boldly change it myself but I'm honestly stumped for an elegant, concise explanation of how that logo might be used for short stories. Are there any examples of actual use that could be described? (The logo is still pretty new.) - Dravecky (talk) 21:05, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hm, not sure. It probably hasn't been, as it would take one of the stories that has one being republished since October '09, which is why the cite for it being used is the reprint of the 2009 "best related work" winner. Maybe... "The official logo of the Hugo Award, placed on the cover of works containing the winning story as a promotional tool"? --PresN 21:22, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That works for me. Maybe "to be placed" or "designed to be placed" which would more accurately describe its current state. Should a publisher ever get around to using it for a short story collection, this can be easily amended. - Dravecky (talk)
Alright, changed here and on the novella and novelette pages. --PresN 23:12, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
