Citation need raised on death date

[edit]

Having previously read of him as having died only 'during 1943' I have raised a citation need against the detailed but unsourced death date of 22 September 1944 in the intro line as it is not supported by the references presently in the article.Cloptonson (talk) 19:23, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I've removed the 1944 date and cited the 1943 one. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 19:53, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It seems that this information has been superseded by the information of the ESBL for his life dates. The source states he died in Tallinn (capital city) in September 1944 and he is buried in a cemetery in the same city. Olympedia also run with this, so it makes his alleged death in Soviet captivity in Siberia questionale. I wonder were there Soviet prison camps in Tallinn, the Soviet reconquest of Estonia was completed by autumn of 1944.Cloptonson (talk) 17:22, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
