History of the term[edit]

I believe the term "human trafficking" was coined fairly recently, but I can't see this mentioned in the article. If the phenomenon has existed for millennia, but people only started using the term a few decades ago, the exact history of the term seems extremely relevant. Has anyone looked into this? I did a quick search and found a few clues, but I'm wary of adding them to the article, as I can't figure out why it hasn't been mentioned already. In Need of Advice[edit]

Hi! I am a student who will be creating an article covering "Human Trafficking in Houston" due to it being a major hotspot. I hope to bring awareness, education, and a municipal perspective to an international issue. I am happy to take any feedback or advice! Feel free to visit my user page if you have any comments. Crimes against humanity category removal[edit]

Crimes against humanity is a specific legal concept. In order to be included in the category, the event (s) must have been prosecuted as a crime against humanity, or at a bare minimum be described as such by most reliable sources. Most of the articles that were formerly in this category did not mention crimes against humanity at all, and the inclusion of the category was purely original research.
