{{editprotected}} Wouldn't it make more sense for the redirect to point to the section Tropical cyclone#Hurricane or typhoon than to the top of the article? A. di M. (talk) 01:21, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not convinced. Often these terms are used loosely and it seems likely that someone looking for "hurricane" will want general information about hurricanes, not the detailed definition. In any case I have lowered the protection, so if you get consensus on this you can make the edit yourself. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:22, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough; perhaps this is a better idea, so that readers are still directed to the top of the article but it's much easier for them to get to the more specific definitions. A. di M. (talk) 14:59, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Redirection

[edit]

The BRD cycle having run its course, anyone wishing to again change the target of this page, or change it into something other than a redirect, should first raise a discussion at WP:RFD. Cheers! bd2412 T 12:39, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can you add the RFD tag on top of this redirect. It is nominated at RFD. Thank you. 192.107.120.90 (talk) 16:02, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
