Hello, KN. I will be reviewing this article this afternoon. On the surface, it looks like a decent article. However, there's a few issues I have before passing the article and listing it as a GA.

  • "Forming as the third named storm and" - Wikilink "named storm" to tropical cyclone naming
  • "The disturbance gradually organized and was designated as a tropical depression three days later." - Be more specific on where Carlos developed (e.g. "The disturbance gradually organized and was designated as a tropical depression three days later while south of Mexico's Pacific coast.")
    • Added something like that. ~ KN2731 {talk} 10:05, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • "landfall near Tenacatita, Jalisco with winds" - Comma after Jalisco
  • National Hurricane Center should be linked in Reference 1, not Reference 3
  • Reference 20 is missing the publication date
  • Wait, one more thing. You didn't talk about how tropical storm and hurricane watches and warnings were issued or mention that later in the article. I don't expect you to list them all, but at least provide a short summary of the locations of these watches and warnings
    • Well, I tried not to list all the warnings... hopefully it's not too much. ~ KN2731 {talk} 10:05, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That's about it. These aren't major and can easily be fixed in a short amount of time, so it's nearly there. Just fix these in a timely manner and I will pass this article and list it as a GA. Nice work, btw--12george1 (talk) 17:53, 8 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've finished addressing the above issues. Thanks very much for the review. ~ KN2731 {talk} 10:05, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • All in all, the article is quite good. Since I originally wrote this article in real time, I made a few tweaks in regards to the ordering of the watches/warning (mostly adding timestamps to where the watches were issued) and removing slight overlinking. Hope no one minds. YE Pacific Hurricane 19:22, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • Good job on fixing these. I will now pass this article and list it as a GA.--12george1 (talk) 19:25, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
