Content?[edit]

If we can't find some more content this one should probably be merged. Jdorje 06:58, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is that better? I think that is more than a stub and a start, so hopefully it won't be merged. If you're curious, the only reason I did this was to keep having one storm article for every year. Hurricanehink 20:55, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Todo[edit]

Some impact and satellite pictures would be nice. Jdorje 21:51, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great...next problem is the pictures are not PD as was claimed. Can we still use them? Jdorje 22:07, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Really? I thought if they were a product of the US government, it was OK. Plus, there was no copyright info on the page at all, located here. Well, this page is a bit different from 2 days ago, to say the least. I personally hope all hurricane articles will eventually have as much information as this one does. Hurricanehink 22:20, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The PDF is from the US government, but the pictures are credited to the AP. And yes, I hope all hurricane articles will have this much info...if every article is at least B-class we will be in good shape. Jdorje 22:32, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh. No idea. Should they be removed? Should we ask an admin? Hurricanehink 22:47, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure. I imagine it qualifies as fair use. Jdorje 23:01, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Todo2[edit]

Preparations and aftermath. — jdorje (talk) 07:13, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yea, then after finishing stupid (sorry to anyone who thinks that the metric system is awestome) metrication stuff and completing inline sourcing, this should be able to pass as a GA. íslenska hurikein #12 (samtal) 18:42, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Now for the refs... íslenska hurikein #12 (samtal) 19:46, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
All done with the refs now. íslenska hurikein #12 (samtal) 18:43, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GA? íslenska hurikein #12 (samtal) 21:08, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yea, sure. Hurricanehink (talk) 21:26, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures[edit]

If you guys havent noticed, someone deleted the damaged and flooding pictures Storm05 14:11, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I did. They weren't fair use, so I nominated them for deletion. Hurricanehink 15:18, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GA passed[edit]

Great job folks! I would expand everthing, perhaps add some (verifiable) anecdotal tales to make the storm more living (for lack of a better word). But overall, nice article, especially for such a small storm.--Esprit15d 12:49, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FA passed[edit]

  • Reference format inconsistencies
  • Needs alt text
  • duplicate links
  • Has some academic representation, however, there is a decent bit more out there.
