Good work overall. There are some fairly minor issues that are listed below.

• The lead could probably be condensed to one paragraph.
• Dvorak classifications were initiated on August 15 as the system became more convective. - Link "convective" (atmospheric convection).
• Be sure the footnotes occur directly after the punctuation, with no space.
• At its second advisory Hector was forecasted to reach a peak of 45 mph for a while. - Remove "for a while".
• While continuing west-northwestward, the hurricane quickly intensified, and it is estimated that Hector reached its peak intensity of 95 kt at 0600 UTC August 18, while centered about 900 n mi southwest of the southern tip of Baja California. - Change the kt to mph and km/h, and add a conversion from n mi to mi.
• The remnant circulation of Hector dissipated on August 24 about 750 miles (1,207 km) east of the Hawaiian Islands. - Round the conversion.
• Format ref #2 properly.
