I will review this article. — Cirt (talk) 02:38, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not GA at this time[edit]

Article has been tagged at top of page with visible {{Lead too short}} by LazyBastardGuy (talk · contribs) diff, tag has remained, unaddressed, for quite some time now.

Checklinks analysis shows multiple problems with deadlinks.

In addition, the nominator 10mandown (talk · contribs) has gone inactive.

Feel free to re-nominate when lead has been expanded and when we have a bit of a more active nominator. — Cirt (talk) 04:08, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Genre citations[edit]

On discussion with @DannyMusicEditor:, I've decided to look into the reliability of the Lithium magazine website. The site is at least designed alright, but I'm not finding anything stating it's notability or reliability (is it a print magazine? a fan site?). Their About page, doesn't really suggest anything, which makes me wonder if it passes WP:RS. Could the user who added them expand on that?

Also danny, no worries. I'm glad we are discussing it instead of edit warring. :) Andrzejbanas (talk) 12:11, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just so you know, I added those genres and the source. That's why I asked in the first place, how is a review unreliable? I was almost certain this album classified as power metal, the gothic metal was a bonus. I googled "Within Temptation Hydra Power Metal" and Lithium might've been the third result. @DannyMusicEditor:, It's not that's it's unreliable, but the source itself has to be notable, i.e: not a fansite. Can you show the website's credentials? It's placement on google doesn't matter, and it would be better not to seek out specific genres, but find what others are saying in general. Andrzejbanas (talk) 15:59, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it's a print magazine, but I'm not sure it's a fan site either. Wait a minute, give a specific definition of fan site. DannyMusicEditor (talk) 16:18, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Refer to Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources to see if it follows it's standards. Andrzejbanas (talk) 16:23, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have noticed the link citing those genres is now deceased; however after doing a simple Google search I can confirm that the quote remains there, and the statement justifies the citations. Despite this, should we keep it? It wouldn't be worth adding a quote because I can't get a full sentence out of it. Here[1] is the search I found it on; it's the first result after WP. It states something about returning to their roots of gothic power metal.DannyMusicEditor (talk) 19:15, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
