Apparent contradiction[edit]

I'm totally new to this so forgive me if I am not using this correctly.

In the entry on Hydrangea quercifolia, under Cultivation you say "It prefers slightly acidic soils with a pH of 5.0–6.5." but in the section Distribution and habitat, you say it grows "on calcareous soils, and often where limestone is at the ground surface".

I've removed the (unsourced) statement about calcareous soils. According to others, it prefers acid or neutral soils. Darorcilmir (talk) 21:29, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
