Sorry for the delay. I'll be reviewing this article.Tintor2 (talk) 18:48, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Takipoint123:

Lead
  • We need to introduce "Houtarou Oreki and Eru Chitanda"
  • Second paragraph starts with It. I would be more specific to avoid confusing the reader.
  • OP and ED might be confusing too. Either add opening theme and ending theme.
  • "The main cast included" I would suggest using present tense considering it's a tv series.
  • When mentioning the actors I would use only the common name for Oreki and Chitanda.
  • "The story was set" Same with the previous sentence. I recommend present tense.
  • "In 2022, the series met its 10th anniversary." Sounds kinda trivial or redundant.
Synopsis
  • Introduce the character just like in the lead.
  • Try to avoid repeating words often like "Classical Lit. Club"
  • Remember the guidelines for fiction. Always write sentences in present tense unless a scene happens in the form of a flashback.

That's all for now. During week days I'm kinda busy during the morning so I'll be more active later. I'll keep this in my watchlist but ping me if possible. Good work.Tintor2 (talk) 20:44, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: Thank you for the suggestions. I have made the fixes. Takipoint123 (talk) 03:15, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Characters
  • Everything seems fine but I would suggest a ref for the brief description of the characters.
Production
  • "Kyoto Animation was put in charge of animating Hyouka" Another case of introductions. There are only two times needed to introduce something in Wikipedia. In the lead and in the body. I would rephrase to "The television anime series Hyouka was animated by".
  • "provided the source material" This seems more important than I what I see. Could you elaborate on what is the source material? I know you mentioned it in the lead but body also needs an intro.
  • Honobu Yonezawa and Yasuhiro Takemoto are overlinked.
  • Avoid short paragraphs like the second one from this section. I often see Wikipedia as formal letter when it comes to writing.
  • Takayama is overlinked too.
  • The mention of Funimation seems quite strange. I'd leave it for later after the final mention of the Japanese release. Same with the Funimation link.
Music
  • Since music is an aspect of the series, don't you think it should be a subection?
Episodes
  • I would move this empty section to production or, in case it is too big, to a subsection of production named "release"
Reception
  • NHK needs a link. Or maybe I missed it?
  • The logo seems trivial with the top image
  • Blu-ray is a common term so I'd remove the link
  • The introduction sentence of Critical response is quite unsourced. I'd either mix it with the next paragraph or expand on it with ideas. I once was told that for Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School but it seems that was removed.

Anyway, that's all. Good work with the article. Fix this and I'll gladly pass it.

@Tintor2: I think I got all of your suggestions except the list of characters, where I could only find the official description of the main 4 members. I'll remove the rest if you want me to. Takipoint123 (talk) 01:23, 16 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Passing the review. The article improved a lot ever since we talked. Nice work.Tintor2 (talk) 02:14, 16 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
