Sourcing

[edit]

Facebook and Twitter are not reliable sources. - Who is John Galt? 18:02, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. I had a feeling that adding the sources were a hit or miss because initially I believed that if the company produced the source than it would be ok [i.e kings’ video posted by them, Anthony Albanese’s tweet] but I’ll just find another source. I did for one or two I think which is good Helpingpeopleyay (talk) 21:16, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also, can you please inform me of the “original research” you see on this page? All of the information is from sources. Helpingpeopleyay (talk) 21:18, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I checked and fixed all the issues on the page. Aka, no more twitter or Facebook links, and no more potentially original information - every piece of text in the page is now appropriately sourced to an appropriate source. Helpingpeopleyay (talk) 21:28, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've occasionally seen an official Twitter account used as a citation for a specific statement made by a subject, but it's really a good idea to avoid it. I believe Facebook is never really acceptable. Thanks for replacing them with third-party sources. - Who is John Galt? 22:51, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It’s ok, I’m glad the changes I made fixed any issues! :) Helpingpeopleyay (talk) 08:38, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
