I'm dispensing with the checklist because this article cannot be bettered! Great work! Pass with congratulations! Keep up the good work!LittleMissWikipoo (talk) 16:46, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think that this was initially passed hastily; see discussion of this and other quick passes here. It looks good for the most part, but still needs a little bit of work. The main thing I see is that there are citations in the lead paragraph; per WP:LEAD, the lead should be a summary of the body and therefore not need citations. I put it back in the queue. Fixed. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 00:57, 2 December 2009 (UTC):[reply]
I can't find references for the format of the tour concerts (as opposed to the movie). Can you add them or point them out? Geometry guy 22:54, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Added references and removed some unsourced info. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 01:30, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Much appreciated that you are engaging with this (re)review of the nomination. Note that I replaced "The song received positive reviews" by "The song received mixed reviews" in two places. I don't think my replacement is accurate. From what I have seen, the reviews are more nuanced, and it may not be appropriate to summarize them in such a phrase. Can you take another look and expand on what the reviews actually say, without interpreting whether they are positive or negative? Geometry guy 00:07, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Stating whether it was positive, mixed, or negative is important. Check FAs like "4 Minutes". I tweaked up the section and put a better summary of it on the lead. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 03:49, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Much improved. Geometry guy 21:32, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't able to find anything about the Billy Ray Cyrus video or the Ron Cyrus slide show in the sources, so I removed this information. Please readd if there are sources. The film itself is a reliable source for basic facts about what happened in the film, but such information may also be unnecessary detail (3b). Geometry guy 21:32, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Now can it be passed?? -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 19:02, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • I have two comments on this article:
Background
  • The first paragraph of this section clearly isn't background at all, but describes the song's musical structure. I think this ought to be separated out into its own section. While on the topic of structure, I find it strange that the music is analysed but the lyrics are not mentioned at all.
Live performances
  • "Dressed in a gray shirt and black pants, Cyrus performed the song, "Ready, Set, Don't Go", and "The Best of Both Worlds" on The Oprah Winfrey Show on December 20, 2007, as a screen displayed a "sky-like" background." Is "the song" a reference to "I Miss You"? If so, that needs to be clarified. Is it really important that she was wearing a gray shirt and black pants? If so, why?
  • Changed and live performances section is used to describe the performances themselves (the song itself doesn't change), and what the singer wears is important to the presentation. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 01:20, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm willing for the hold period to extend until 19 December. If no response is received before then, I will close and not list. Geometry guy 23:05, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The issues have not been adequately addressed. There remain concerns about a lack of coverage: the lyrics are important to this song, and the description of Cyrus's dress in just one performance seems spurious. A fresh review is needed: perhaps Breakout (Miley Cyrus song) will provide inspiration for improvement in the meanwhile. Geometry guy 21:23, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
