Feedback from New Page Review process

[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Good article but its a ropey in term of referencing for a BLP. If it wasn't for the Ao I would have sent to draft for some work. Can you please update it with more references. scope_creepTalk 14:09, 7 September 2022 (UTC).[reply]

Dear Scope Creep, I totally agree with what you are saying. I was appalled that someone of Heads' eminence did not have an entry in W. When I came to find sources, I found it very difficult. In all his books the "About the Author " bit is very repetitive. I need to do some books and library research next time I am in Sydney or Canberra. It seems Heads has written about so many people but no one obvious has written about him. However, I am onto it and I shall pursue the search for sources as soon as I can.Gladiator-Citizen (talk) 00:52, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Gladiator-Citizen: I completelty understand. It is sometimes very hard to source articles and it takes an age. I would also move the four paragraphs about his books and move them into the book with book reviews if you can and expand the lede to include a summary of his life to date. Hope that helps. scope_creepTalk 08:39, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Scope Creek. I will adopt yours suggestions. I think I have discovered another source for a few important facts. I will work on it in the next few days. Gladiator-Citizen (talk) 08:15, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Scope Creep (sorry about the Creek).
Thank you for your help. I have re-written the lede and put all the comments and wikipedia references in the Published Books list. I think this is what you suggested I do. I am writing to the National Library enquiry service and his fellow journalists to see if I can get some sources to flesh out his career. Much thanks again.Gladiator-Citizen (talk) 02:43, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
